Dr Paz also uses Invisalign®, the invisible braces for straightening teeth. This is the best method of obtaining a beautiful smile that others may never see you wearing. Dr. Paz also uses Cerec 3D, a CAD-CAM method of making a beautiful all-porcelain crown or inlay in only one visit (Same Day Crowns), saving the multiple visits it once required for these restorations. Computers speed information and images to workstations and insurance companies. Digital x-rays cut down on the amount of radiation to which patients are exposed, and computerized anesthesia eliminates most of the sharp feelings once associated with getting numb. Click here to discover more about Dr. Paz

Invisalign The Clear Alternative to Metal Braces.

By using a series of clear, removable aligners, Invisalign straightens your teeth with results you'll notice sooner than you think. The course of treatment involves changing aligners approximately every two weeks, moving your teeth into straighter position step by step, until you have a more beautiful smile. And unlike braces, these clear aligners can be removed while you eat and you can brush your teeth as usual. Click here to learn more about Invisalign at Laser Comfort Dentistry

Advanced Oral Cancer Screenings

According to the American Cancer Society, in 2009, an estimated 35,720 new cases of oral cavity and oropharyngeal cancer will be diagnosed in the United States, causing approximately 7,600 deaths. It is one of the few types of cancer that has not seen a significant reduction in incidence over the past 30 years, and recent research has shown a strong association with human papillomavirus (HPV), which can be sexually transmitted. For this reason, it is recommended that all individuals over the age of 18, or anyone who is sexually active, should have at least an annual comprehensive oral examination, and ideally at every dental hygiene visit. Click Here to learn more about this life saving advanced oral cancer screening.

Dr. Paz and his team plan to help the people of Haiti with his 18th annual Dental Mission.

Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere with a severe lack in the basic daily necessities. Dental treatment is inconsistent at best, and some of these desperate Haitians seek help from local voodoo witchdoctors. Often they find themselves in a plight worse than before. Because dental care is not routinely offered, these poor Haitian people suffer with toothaches for weeks or months. Then word begins to spread among the people. A dental team from the U.S. has come to bring relief. Dr. Paz and his team are planning their 18th dental mission trip to Haiti. With every trip, God’s hand has been evident. To get involved or find out more visit FeedingHaiti.com and view more about the mission he supports.
